In general I think of it as a somewhat "cheap" way to win. Obviously you want to remove people who try and organize effective discussion but just shooting anybody who bothers to play doesn't make the game much fun. I admit this is strictly personal preference and runs into the fact that the strategy is actually quite effective.
Here I think at this stage most everybody is linked up with a good portion of their "faction" so they are all quite likely talking just like we are and in similar volumes. You won't bore them out of the game. (We're far more likely to rout them out.) Really the quiet ones are more likely to be specials trying to hide.

I'll buy it being a cheap way to win. Probably a better, more honorable plan would be to nuke the inactives. I think losing a bunch recently has made me want to win more than usual.

Understandable and I'm not all judgmental about others doing it, it's just something I try and avoid. Like killing people like Kime on day 1. It sucks to continually exit early and I don't like propagating that.
As an aside, Osvik is in this game and has been pretty good in the past at faction games. We should probably shoot him in the near future. I'll stick with Celebrim for tonight but I haven't heard anything from CC. I'll think I'm just going to let CC call it to Kay.
Sleep calls.

I would say fight at the moment. We're full on ship health, this early in the game let's not blow using our specials when there's only one ship in the sector and no chance of it seriously hurting us. Plus we'll see if Trust is willing to play nice or not.

The first game I was evil I killed all the spreadsheeters and then anyone giving a vote count at all in the thread. Then I started killing people for thinking they might start spreadsheeting or asking others to spreadsheet.
It was awesome.

I asked Nap to kill Osvik. He's checking to see if his kill was submitted in time.

Nap says they have alliances with all the factions... we need to be wary of that.
