petitio76: Interesting. crimsoncoyote: hmm petitio76: So, care to explain? crimsoncoyote: Hold on, I'm reading the rest. crimsoncoyote: That's not what he told me petitio76: Well. petitio76: I'm going to need you to make the first move, then. petitio76: Get me a login at your proboard, and we'll talk. I'm a little cheesed off that your info was bad. petitio76: (Not seriously...just in-game, obviously. ) crimsoncoyote: I have no reason to have lied to you. That's what I was told. Give me a minute petitio76: OK. petitio76: But you were right on our alignment. crimsoncoyote: I have no reason to believe Jayne lied. petitio76: Are you not fully networked?

Abilities: Fight or Fly? As the Captain of the Serenity it is up to you to decide whether to fight or fly when the Serenity comes under attack. Any time another ships fires upon you, instead of firing back, you can choose to either take the hit or run for it. Running for it will result in half of the characters(probably whoever was off doing a job with you when you found yourself in this mess) failing to take their night actions. You get to pick who by PMing me with a list of four(or half if people start dying) of the Serenity's crew. They won't take any actions.
Additionally you may kill one player a night.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: Override Malcolm trusts you more than anyone in the world, after all you're his right hand. Wash is your husband. He does what you say. Once per game you may override the target of their night actions. This can be used on each of them at different times.
Additionally you may Seer one player a night.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: Pilot You fly the Serenity and as a result you can choose the sector you move to each night.
Additionally you are a Busdriver.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: Just a Compainion As a compainion you're allowed to travel throughout the galaxy. If you are seered by an Alliance aligned player they will be roleblocked and get no results.
Additionally you may roleblock one player a night.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: You're the Muscle. You may kill one player a night. Additionally once during the game you may guard one person. This guard cannont be blocked or redirected.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: You know Serenity Let's be honest. You're the reason the ship flies. You keep her running. You may ask one question about the mechanics of the game each night. Additionaly, once during the game you may repair the Serenity.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: You're a doctor. Actually no. You're a great doctor. Once during the game you may bring a player back from the brink of death. We're talking so dead that everyone thinks they are dead. They probably won't be in perfect health anymore, but they should be mostly functional.
Additionally you may guard one player a night.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilites: People listen to a preacher People listen to you when you talk. Sometimes without knowing who you are. As a result you may submit text to be posted in the narration. People also have a tendancy to do what you say. Your votes count as double.
Operative? Your past is hidden in the shadows, but one thing is obvious, you weren't always a preacher. Once during the game you may kill someone.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: You're crazy You're nuts. Absolutely nuts. If anyone you aren't familar with is on board the Serenity you will go freak out. These episodes will appear in the narration. Other than that you really don't do anything. For now. In fact you're always on board the Serenity. As a result you are currently immune to the vote.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: Boarding Party Each night you may board a ship in whatever sector you are in. You will recieve a list of players on that ship. You may kill one player, role block another and drive a third insane. An insane players actions will mostly likely not hit their disignated target.
Post Restrictions: Reavers don't talk After boarding a ship you may not reveal the surviving players on board to anyone else.
~~~~~~~~~~
Abilities: Arrest Orders Every night you may arrest one player. They are removed from the game. Basically you're a Vigilante.
Abilities: Ship Command Each night you chose where the ship goes and who you shoot at.
Abilities: Vaccince You really screwed up in the past. You were part of that whole debacle out on Miranda. The good news is you've developed a vaccine. You may convert one reaver a night. If you target someone who is not a reaver your actions will have no effect. Both yourself and the reaver will be informed of your succes.
Abilities: Gather Intel You're a seer. Every night you may investigate one player and discover their alignment.
Abilities: Security Patrol You may guard one player each night.
Abilites: Best in the 'Verse You're the best Bounty hunter in the 'Verse. You may investigate and kill one player a night. Your ship will not be able to be targeted by anyone. You may however shoot at other ships. Additionally if you are targetef by any Alliance actions they will fail and the targeting player will be informed you are a friend.
~~~~~~~~~
Captain is in charge of ship navigation and weapons targeting. You may choose which sector to vist and who to fire upon. As a Spy he may investigate one person a night Medic, may protect one player a night Your Marksman may snipe one player a night. Pew Pew
Ok, this is what I was thinking
Alliance ships (most vague on this): 1) 1 Ship command, 1 gather intel, 1 Security Patrol 2) 1 Ship command, 1 gather intel, 1 Security Patrol 3) 1 Ship command, 1Arrest Order, 1 Security patrol 4) 1 Ship command, 1 Arrest Order, 1 Vaccine
B:L and the Evil Eight Bounty hunter
Browncoats: Captain, Spy, Medic, Marksman
Serenity: 9 of us (do I really need to list em all?)
Reavers: 9 players across 3 ships (3/3/3, I'm guessing)
This list probably needs updating... but I think this is a decent rough estimate.
This line from narration seems to support #3 on the above list "The Captain took the Intelligence officer and a security officer to the most likely breach point" - this is the ship "Hunting Reavers"
Is it possible this is Jubal Early, in a ship that is invisible on the map? "B:L And The Evil Eight"?
Ohhhhh good call on that. B:L and The Evil Eight may be the bounty hunter. The reason no one can target it is that they can't see it. I really think this is the case.
Also I assume the SS vote is to gather info in the thread?
We don't want to accidentally get him bandwagon ed though...
Any ideas for a real vote today?
B:L and the Evil Eight sounds like something kime would do, and it explains the abandoned reaver ship (which he revealed as being on, before he died).
Early's ship being invisible on the map wouldn't make sense. Look at the numbers I posted above.
Early's ship being invisible would make complete sense. Just imagine 9 reavers instead of 10.
Look at these side by side, and it would appear the bounty hunter is allowed to choose at whom his ship will shoot. This is problematic, as a ship's commander is allowed to make that decision for Alliance ships.
Furthermore, granting the Alliance-immunity to one ship in their fleet, but not the others, seems odd.
My money is on B:L And The Evil Eight being Jubal Early's ship.
Sorry for the triple-post, but I just cross-checked the players list for PokePhalla and Phallafly, and Zellpher is the only member of the Evil Eight who is playing this time. I'm sending in my OPG kill on him.
Let me know if I need to retract it.
And as for confirming ourselves to naporeon...why don't we just have Spork talk to him? He's narration-confirmed as a crew member of Serenity, he can testify that CC wasn't just yanking his chain.
I submitted orders to move to Xuan Wu and we're still sitting in Huang Long. Does anyone have any insight into this?
